Roanoke, Va. – BC Wood Properties announced today that it has acquired Ivy Market, a 31,073-square-foot shopping center in Roanoke, Virginia. The shopping center is located less than 10 minutes from downtown Roanoke on Franklin Road SW.
Ivy Market is occupied by Earth Fare, First Watch and soon to open CoreLife Eatery. Earth Fare is one of the largest natural and organic food retailers in the country, with 50 locations across 10 states in the Southeast, mid-Atlantic, and Midwest. Earth Fare’s full-service philosophy incorporates the highest food quality standards in the industry with compelling value, friendly and knowledgeable service, and a superior shopping experience.
When asked about the acquisition, King Offutt, President of BC Wood Properties, said, “We were initially attracted to the tenant mix at the center. We were also attracted to the shopping center’s location adjacent to a major regional healthcare facility.” This is BC Wood Properties’ second Earth Fare anchored shopping center in its portfolio.
