At BC Wood we take pride in our professional success and are very focused on continuing to build upon that success. We strongly believe in supporting the community around us, especially disadvantaged children who haven’t been blessed with the best start in life. One of our core beliefs is that every child deserves a chance. An opportunity to succeed through academics, mentoring, being loved and not forgotten. We feel very fortunate to be able to use our professional skills and experience alongside our network to aid our individual and collective philanthropical work.
Our team raised $30,575 this year for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass at the 8th Annual BC Wood Golf Classic!
The BC Wood team is dedicated to giving back to our community!
BC Wood Properties is proud to partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass
For more than 60 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass has been making meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 13, in communities across Central Kentucky. They then help develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of our young people.

In 2025 BC Wood Properties hosted our inaugural “BC Wood Day of Impact” as an extension of our scramble which allowed kids currently in the BBBS program to participate in a golf clinic at Keene Run Golf Course.
Our "Day of Impact" in partnership with UK Athletics, Champions Staff and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass allowed us to expose kids in the program to the game of golf and let them engage with UK student athletes and Golf Professionals from Keene Trace. This event speaks to the heart of our partnership with BBBS.
Our 9th annual BC Wood Properties golf classic will be August 3rd, 2026 at Champions Golf Course. This is our fourth year with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass as the beneficiary. At BC Wood Properties we are passionate about focusing our philanthropic efforts towards organizations that directly impact the children of our community. We believe that few others are making as much of an impact in the lives of Central Kentucky children than Big Brothers Big Sister of the Bluegrass.
